The mountains of North Carolina feel like a second home to us. We spent the weekend hiking, shopping, and simply enjoying time together as a family. Here are a few photos and videos from our latest adventure.
Lovely views, trails and waterfalls. My wife and I visited our daughter the last couple of days near Boone. Unfortunately, we had to deal with the rain. I looked up the cafe in your picture and were you near Sylva? My oldest son almost went to Western Carolina University. Keith
Western Carolina is a great school. Sorry you had to deal with the rain. We were right there with you. Fortunately, Sunday was a bit better weather wise.

Thanks. Our best day was Monday morning. There are so many day and weekend trips in NC and SC. Take care, Keith

These pictures are very similar to the mountains around me in Chiang Rai, Thailand, though I imagine it is a little colder there.
