I felt I couldn’t refuse. Please check out this amazing blog.
Oh to participate you :

Provide answers to the 11 questions they gave you.
List 11 fun facts about yourself.

As an alcoholic I relate more to Hemingway. Actually as a writer I relate more to Hemingway. Hemingway was into many of the things I am and similar experiences. Despite being sober nearly 2 decades I still find a lot of sober alchies inauthentic and enjoy hanging around honest alchies practicing or legitimately on the program. Only 2 kinds of alcoholics I have ever known… male and female. Hemingway understood being a tortured male and didn’t need to take it out on a woman by pressing her into slavery.

I think all writers are tortured in different ways . I’ve always been fascinated by the tragic love story of F Scott and Zelda. I’m happy to hear you are two years sober. I’ve never struggled with addiction but I know people who have, it’s not and easy road it seems.

19 years. 2 decades. Plenty of non writers are tortured. Most good mothers are too 😄

Just listening to some girl on the train calling some bloke a fag. These are the kind of people who make a wage from such rhetoric and using the right language. Friday night on the town and anything goes.
I love Hemingway because he’s like a monk… integrity. I don’t know if I am capable of selling out. It would be like pretending not to know your mother even if she was insane.

I just saw your bit about Scott Fitzgerald, who I never read, so went off to research, (I like authors from that period too) Then I stumbled onto Miranda July, whose film I enjoyed, so I DL’d her book sample titled “The First Bad Man” and I’m reading it now, its hilarious! I think you’d maybe enjoy it too – its very sassy and “now” 🙂 Xx

I just ordered the book cos the sample was so enthralling and funny! I’m going for the book cos its cheaper than the kindle (2nd hand) Love a good read! Have you ever seen her film “The Future” its so strange and arty! I wonder if you’d dig it? 🙂

I haven’t. I’ll see if I can find it on Netflix. 💕💕💕😎

Thanks for the recommendation. It definitely sounds like a book I’d like. Happy Saturday, mate. Cheers ❤️❤️

I might read the other samples of the other books while I wait for the postman, the film is kind of minimalist very odd style, a bit cold, whereas the book is much warmer – see if you can find the sample, so funny! ❤ ❤ Xx

Great post! Pink Floyd reference. Nice! You have wit – a very underrated – but awesome quality to have! And your parents definitely have admirable careers. 🤙🏻 I laughed at your comment about the president. I feel the same way. Ugh!

Sherrie Miranda’s historically based, coming of age, Adventure novel “Secrets & Lies in El Salvador” is about an American girl in war-torn El Salvador:
