Letter to You

If I could, I would shield you from your own sorrows. From phones that don’t ring, the 7 AM alarm clock, missing the train, fair-weather friends, the frayed ends of the welcome mat.

I would protect you from backaches and headaches, and unnecessary tirades, the losing team. Mostly, I would shelter you from false hope, women with an agenda to harm, and those wildflowers meant only to disarm.

I would encourage you to take ferries and planes, and leave the ink revised map at home,  to become a mid spring season, dandelions covered, savor the sunshine, take risk.  Breathe.

Remember the music of your soul. Listen to your heart’s sway. I would implore you to make love, make art, and to praise the song and rhythm your body prays.

      1. Yes. I find your work resonates with me so much. It’s good to read, and whether happy or sad, brightens my day when I have the opportunity to meet up through your words. So thank you for that. Truly.

  1. A letter everyone should read. We all need to remind ourselves from time to time, and most importantly to hope! Cheers Tosha, love the purity of thought behind this 💕

  2. Amidst the oracular misery, tendencies to fly emerge
Like flutters in the consistency of truth.
    Foreseeing only separation and diffuseness,
    The microcosmic antibodies splurge
    And burgeon.
    Splicing, more and more and more;
    Unstoppable macro-Petri all-of-a-suddenness,
As propulsion and soul volition take control,
    Gunning down the infidelic universe
In waves of human love and awe.
    Conspire, console, construe, construct –
Come now, for we are in great motion,
    Growing, turning, morphing,
    Realising destiny in every reaction…
    Tumult.
    Exalt.
    Sheerness
    Dissolving down the edifices
Which no longer tower over man,
    Our uprisings
    Pure creation,
    Anew.
    Auspicious humanity unleashed,
    Such that
    We are all catharsis now,
    Through and through.

      1. Work has me up at 0500! The baby slept until almost 1000 today! I don’t even know what I would do with myself if I slept that long!

  3. Bonjour TOSHA

    Bernard
