In Every Room

Your face is the Bible from
which I learn my verse.
I listen for your voice like
a call to worship.
Your eyes a bedroom
I long to get lost in.
I could rest my lips forever
in the parlor of your neck.
Make a veranda on your tongue,
and a lush yard with your physique.
The manlines of you sparking
the femininity in me.
When your hands grazes my thighs,
I long to sound my soulful alarm,
to beckon to you until I feel your heat
and drive in every room.
