I am usually terrible at following up on these awards but when the shepherd calls,. I answer. I’m just a humble sheep. 🙂

The rules are:

Facts (I’ll let you decide if they are interesting or not):

1. I always mishear lyrics. For example, the song Caribbean Queen. The lyrics ‘She brushed by me in painted bluejeans”. I heard. “She touched my mink and blamed it on me”. That doesn’t even make sense.

2. I’m bit OCD when it comes to cleaning. Sadly, I live with a bunch of slobs. Lucky for them, they happen to be adorable.

3. I was a nerdy, awkward kid. I’m a slightly less nerdy adult, but still incredibly awkward.

4. I’m gullible. My family finds this amusing. They are always trying to trip me up with outlandish stuff  Example The Fonzie bird. Don’t ask. Just know I fell for it. I’m not stupid. I always excelled at academics. I’m just susceptible to nonsense 🙂

5. I appear to be meek, soft spoken, and sweet BUT I can be stubborn and temperamental. I’ll cut you! Kidding (hides knife)

6. In college, I had a band with my boyfriend Matt. We played festivals, wrote our own music, and thought we were the sh**. We weren’t 🙂  However, I’m free to sign autographs after this blog post. 😉

7. I love people and have many acquaintances. I give freely of my time. I’m often overwhelmed. However, when it comes to friends. I only have a handful. I open myself up to a select few.

  1. Ah, you are very deserving of this award, Miss Tosha! Congratulations! And, humbly, I thank you for the nod. I will do my best to get on the ball and write my post. I won’t do it right now because I’m drinking wine (red) and, well, you know how that goes, 🙂 But seriously, congratulations (love your answers, especially #1, with which I can relate). 😉

  5. We have a few facts in common OCD and nerdiness being two on the funnier side but sadly I can’t use those now as facts about me 😀

  8. Ohhhhh, congratulations Tosha. I must admit that I’m somewhat OCD myself. Actually, ADHD. It’s great for creativity, yet awful for organization. Haha.

  10. Congratulations on your award (applause)! Enjoyed reading more about you…#5 was hilarious! I’m sot surprised to read you were once in a band. I’ve read a few of your recent poems and could hear music as I read them. You would be a great lyricist.

    1. Thank you. College was a fun time. Matt and I dated the first year and a half of it. He was my first real boyfriend. I was a late bloomer.   11. Tosha, I am soo proud of you! Big-big congratulations!! You couldn’t be more deserving.:) I also wanted to say that I feel as though I know you a little better now (this is my most beloved aspect of these award nominations,) and you and I have more in common than I ever knew.

      1. Thank you, I’m trying, but this sickness is really kicking my butt. I have very little energy. Hmm? I don’t think I was sick a few weeks ago… We are taking care of each other, and our three-year-old, as we battle this together. Uggh!

      2. I’m probably getting you confused with someone else. Being sick sucks. I hope you all feel better soon. I had pneumonia the last two years around this time. It was awful. Get lots of rest and vitamin C. Sending get well vibes to you all. xx

  13. You’re very welcome. I am well, minus this cold bug that’s going through our apartment. I was just talking about this to my wife, and I think this is the first (possibly the second) time I’ve even been online this week. Aye, aye, aye.. It really is crazy!

    2. I guess so because this is the first time I’ve been sick in awhile. It’s all good.:) Yes, it sure does. Thank you, again. I’m not sure that we have any Vitamin C, but I’m definitely resting and taking meds. Oh wow, I’m sorry to hear that, and am very thankful that you’re still with us, as I know how fatal pneumonia can be. I nearly died from a severe case at six months old. Bless you!!

      2. I used to get sick very easily, but the last couple years that’s tapered off significantly. Sometimes it hits me hard, while other times it’s mild. Yeah, vitamins help, too. Thank you!!
